Defries & Associates Ltd has been managing properties for over 20 years, specialising in residential block management. We manage your property with the same care and attention, as if it was our own.

Our experienced property managers and support staff provide an effective, responsive and tailored service at a competitive management fee. We have strong relationships with contractors in all trades and cover properties in Central and Greater London, and the Home Counties to the North of the River Thames around the M25. Our portfolio includes a mixture of high-profile buildings in prime locations, together with new-build flats, mansion blocks and private estates. Many of our buildings have their own staff on site and we work closely with them to ensure that a high level of service is provided. Each property we manage has a dedicated property manager, an assistant and a client accountant.

We believe the key to successful residential property management is a high degree of communication. We have invested heavily in technology and communications software to ensure we provide the best service we can to our clients.
 
We are a member of The Property Ombudsman, an accreditation scheme for residential leasehold management and ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents), the only UK block management association. We follow the RICS code of best practice for managing agents.

Our Services

Finding the right managing agent can be a daunting task. We have found, when meeting potential clients, that their concerns include property maintenance, accounts and communication. There are a few straightforward steps to follow in choosing a new managing agent. Our aim is to provide the best possible service at exceptional value for money, including the following:

COVID-19 NOTICE

In light of current ongoing issues surrounding the coronavirus, Defries are taking reasonable steps in order to try to mitigate the spread of the virus. We are taking this approach as a duty of care to our clients, staff and general public.

To confirm, currently we are open for business as usual and continue to monitor Government guidelines and are taking all necessary precautions and advice.

 Presently, although thankfully none of the Defries team have directly contracted the virus, self-isolation is having to be considered on a day-by-day basis.

It is possible that during these times, delays may be experienced on some less urgent communication, and you should consider what you notify us with, we ask that you consider this ahead of making communication as you normally would.

As of today 18th March 2020, we are placing all meetings that involves direct human contact temporarily on hold.

Whilst the contractors we work with are currently continuing, as is our Out-Of-Hours service 0203 004 5457, again this will be monitored on a day-by-day basis, and we ask that currently only urgent issues are reported at this time.

It is important that everyone understands and accepts, that during these disrupted times there may be a level of delay in dealing with some issues and it is important that we try and prioritise these for the benefit of lessees, residents and contractors, which we hope will only be for a short period of time and in line with government and NHS advice.

We would ask that everyone has a little extra patience at this difficult time, but please be assured that we at Defries will continue to offer the best level of client care and service possible, as always.
